Depending on our needs and your knowledge and skills, Women and Children First can use volunteer help.  The time frames are flexible.  Please contact us if you think we can use your experience and skills.  If you are interested in working with teenagers directly, that is possible between September and May.  If you would like to volunteer in our office, it is open year-round for volunteers.

 Examples of volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to:

 Translating, for volunteers who know Russian and English and have translating experience.

 Russian and English-speaking volunteers who can act as adult helpers for children 13-16 years of age.

 Teachers (English as a Foreign Language, dance, art, music, computers).  Knowledge of Russian is a plus, but not obligatory.

 Social work/psychology: work directly with our Centers for Social Adaptation to create instructional programs, trainings, social work/psychological consultations, and research.

 Help us attract the interest of potential investors and make primary contact with potential donor organizations.
